This version should work for common 4" cedar siding, cement board siding, aluminum siding and vinyl siding panels. These mounts do not create a water-tight seal. If you have curved siding, these mounts may not sit flush. This item fixes the problem where your doorbell, when screwed to vinyl or slanted siding, would face upward. This item will correct this issue so that the doorbell faces straight ahead. Made from environmentally conscious PLA which is a plant-based material and biodegradable.
