This bulb is suitable for small to medium size room, or if there is a need to illuminate a specific area like a desk or a doorway, since it will work in most light fixtures disguising and aiming it is easy. The bulb is not suitable for outdoors and even if protected from the elements it will not produce enough useful illumination.
