Its off-the-shelf feature set is developed for high-picture quality in standard applications and requires little to no adjustment once installed. The HCC484E supports direct-drive and drive-style Auto Iris lenses to ensure quality video even in fluctuating light conditions. Regardless of lens type, attaching it to the camera is simple with a built-in C/CS mounting ring and four-pin auto iris connector standard. Power connection is also a snap with built-in push terminals for power, eliminating the need for a screwdriver and saving installation time. The HCC484E includes an automatic electronic shutter for changes in light level, and an automatic backlight compensation option for viewing objects in the foreground with bright light in the background. The HCC484E produces 480 TV lines of resolution NTSC (490 TV lines of resolution PAL) providing reliable video quality even in low-light conditions down to 0.70 lux.
