Security guards are deployed at a customer’s site at least 5-10 days after the execution of a contract between the customer and the security company.

In Pakistan, usually there are 03 kinds of security workforce. A civilian security guard trained from a certified Government institute, Ex-service (retired from Armed forces of Pakistan) security guard and a retired Special Services Group (SSG/commando) security guard.

As per policy of Ministry of Interior of Pakistan, 9mm, 7.62 mm or 30 bore, 32 bore and 38 bore are non prohibited and allowed in handguns, whereas in rifles 12 gauge, 44 gauge, .22 caliber and 7mm are allowed as non prohibited weapons. Usually security guards are deployed under the 12 hour shifts of 0600 to 1800 hours and 1800 hours to 0600 hours on 12 hourly basis

Age between 18 yrs to 55 yrs, security guards are properly screened on several criteria of basic education, physical fitness and security clearance from native districts of security guards.
